Summary:  Provides case management & rehabilitation services for mentally ill clients living in the community.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or related Human Services field), and at least six months experience in the mental health field.  Prefer crisis intervention/case management experience.

Other: Ability to serve as a role model for people needing assistance with daily living skills and community acceptance.  Desirable characteristics include high stress and frustration tolerance, good personal support network and exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.  Ability to work inter-dependently with all members of the mental health provider team, families and support network. Ability to provide services with culturally appropriate sensitivity. Good communication skills.  Computer literate.  Current CPR/First Aid Certifications, Current TB/Health Clearance, Valid Hawaii Driver’s License, clean traffic abstract and access to an insured vehicle. Able to respond to clients 24/7.

Summary:  To provide clerical, bookkeeping and office coordination for administration of programs/projects.  Oversight provided by County Services Director and Peer Project Coordinator.

Education: Business school graduate or equivalent work experience as a bookkeeper and/or office administration.  Computer literate.  Minimum one year experience in office administration and bookkeeping work.  Experience in human services programs preferred.

Other: Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.  Work productively, and complete assignments on a timely basis.  Ability to relate to the public, staff and clients effectively and tactfully.  Maintain confidentiality related to staff, client and fiscal matters.  Work cooperatively with project and agency staff.
